Tantum Ergo

Sunday. Noisy in the bars but quiet in the Cellars today.  Down here was just silence, whispered prayer and throaty song as Mass was celebrated.

But a leaky pipes, dripping out precious Grace took me away with my spanners. I left to the sounds of the choir after Communion.

But.... the song lingers.

Here, a little less haste and some femininity, with the words for you to follow. And a different tune.

The ladies sang so clearly. Such perfect enunciation.

A Great Pleasure.

St Thomas Aquinas. The taps are working again.

Now, if you are all feeling strong enough, listen to a man tell of his best of times and worst of times.

He is qualified as a Knight of the Grail.

Suffering has a purpose even when we cannot see it and do not want it and would give anything to have the Cup pass us by.

This man offers his agony for us to share and to offer up our compassion, just as did a man so long ago.

So, for a sweet baby and a Father deep in his grief, go back and play the Ladies, the Daughters of Mary, as they sing the meaning with such Grace and Heart.

It will cleanse your tears and turn them into a prayer.

Our Bouncer is a gentleman of muscle and guile. His patience has limits. He will check you at the door.

The Tavern gets rowdy visitors from time to time. Some are brain dead and some soul dead. They attack customers and the bar staff and piss on the carpets. Those people will not be allowed in anymore. So... Be Nice..
